  • Whenever you are in Las Vegas and got a day without any arrangements go arrange for a day in Red Rocks with JHMG’s. I have done this twice during business trips and it has been a great experience every time. Competent guides have made these my best days in Las Vegas.

    — Mads Boegvad Knudsen
  • We love JHMG – we have climbed with them twice already. We could not have done this without our wonderful guides who helped us with the reservations and logistics. On both occasions, we had a unique, both challenging and fun experience. More importantly, it was very safe. So worth it!

    — Iryna Hlushakova
  • JHMG is awesome.  Their guides are knowledgeable and professional that make your climbing experience memorable and safe.

    — Pablo Lima
  • I was out on Las Vegas and wanted to do a multi-pitch climb that was just outside of my leading abilities, one where I could second the whole route. Once the route was select, I meet my guide at the climbing shop and we headed out. The  selected climb was perfect, just outside my abilities as I wanted, but not too difficult to shut me down. During the whole time the JHMG Guide was polite, encouraging, and made me feel safe the whole time. This climb was memorable and I can’t wait to return next fall and lead it myself. I really liked how I was treated more as a climber than just a business arrangement. The guide seemed to really enjoy being outside and climbing with me.

    — John Farrell
  • I would highly recommend taking the time to rock climb in Red Rock Canyon with JHMG service. It will be a trip to Vegas you won’t forget. The guides at JHMG are knowledgeable, experienced and will show you the best of what Red Rock has to offer.

    — Mike Eneix
  • We have made many trips to climb with JHMG in Red Rocks outside of Las Vegas. Members of my family have different levels of climbing skills. Mark Limage has always considered the members of my group (it differs from year to year) and always schedules an itinerary that is enjoyable for everyone. We enjoy trying new routes and the challenges we encounter allow us to improve our skills and develop confidence. Our guides are always skilled, friendly, accommodating, and willing to teach anything we wanted to know. We have never failed to have a great time. Climbing with JHMG is a fantastic family activity. We look forward to more climbing for years to come.

  • I’ve climbed with multiple guides from JHMG over the years, and every one was a solid partner and enjoyable companion for the day. For me, hiring a guide for Red Rocks is a great way to leverage a trip to Las Vegas and get in some climbing when I don’t have a partner available. Its great to have a partner that has all the beta, so that I can just focus on the climbing, and not worry about the route finding. I’ve been able to climb some big routes with JHMG, and always learn something from my guide.

    — Andy Welter
  • JHMG at Redrocks is everything a guide service should be. They have technically expert guides with a deep knowledge of the riches of Redrock. But the guides are also smart, friendly and warm. I try to take a day of climbing with them every time I pass through Las Vegas.

    — Greg Frux
  • I have climbed with JHMG on three occasions, in the Tetons and in Red Rock. I have NEVER been disappointed. The guides are safe, knowledgeable, encouraging and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend JHMG’s services to anyone and I plan on more climbs with them in the future.

    — James Vanyek

  • My buddy and I were looking to go tall in Red Rock and Josh put us on a great route. We climbed Dark Shadows, a 1,200 foot climb. Not only was the route a lot of fun, Josh was great! Technically, he was a great climber. Safety was his number one concern, constantly checking and re-checking systems at each belay station. He also provided us with some great tips on communication on multi-pitch routes, effectively building anchors and rappelling for us to use on future climbing trips. I have climbed with JHMG many times and will continue to use them!

    — Marc Landau
  • My experience climbing with Tracy at Red Rocks was amazing.   She  is safe, knowledgeable, and really fun to be with.  I would highly recommend a climbing trip to sunny Red Rocks with JHMG.  If you’re lucky, you’ll get to climb with Tracy!

    — Allison Dittmer
  • The guides I worked with at Red Rocks were phenomenal.  They were incredibly professional, skilled, and confidence inspiring.  I had three fantastic days of climbing sport and multi pitch routes.  I can’t wait to come back and do it again!
