I think we can all agree that mountains are awesome, but they can be uncomfortable and unpredictable, particularly when it comes to weather. Having the right gear in the mountains can make a huge difference in a person’s comfort and therefore can have a big impact on a person’s experience and safety. But finding the right gear and shopping for it can be exhausting and time consuming. That is where our friend Wesley Eads comes in. Wesley is your contact at Backcountry.com. Besides helping our guides with their gear needs, his other responsibility is to help you find the right gear, and help you with purchases or returns or exchanges. Wesley is a climber and is very familiar with our programs.
Wesley grew up in Ohio and started climbing when he was 16 years old. Simply put, he has been in love since. Thankfully, not much has changed since he was a young lad. He moved from Ohio to Utah and if he is not helping folks with their outdoor gear needs, he spends his time climbing (rock, ice, mountain), whitewater paddling, mountain biking and both front and backcountry skiing.
If you are unfamiliar with Backcountry.com, we recommend giving Wesley a call. Their reputation is built on not only having the best gear, but also guys like Wesley, who offer expert advice and next level customer service. Our guides use them, you should too.
