New Name, Same Game

When Jackson Hole Mountain Guides was created in 1968, we were small, local and passionate. Fifty-one years later, yep – that’s still us. Except for one massive detail: We’re now “local” throughout mountain ranges not just in Wyoming but also in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana and Nevada.

So yeah, we’ve grown. And we’re proud that our services got so much traction in the Tetons that we’ve been able to build on our original vision to include so much more of the country. But now that  our little company has grown, we recognize that the name JHMG doesn’t telling the whole story anymore. We realized it was time to update to better reflect who we are and what we’re up to.

We’re very proud to announce our new name, The Mountain Guides. TMG fits us better and makes more sense. But we want you to know that our name is the ONLY thing that’s changed!  We are still the same exceptional team, with the expertise, commitment to safety, and customer service that we have always been known for.    

It’s totally cool if you forget and call us by our old name sometimes.
