About Riley Jordan

A Mississippi native, Riley began exploring the forests, swamps, and blues music of his home state at a young age. A landscape architecture degree brought him to Colorado where the Rockies drew out his true calling as an outdoor industry professional. Riley has worked as a climbing guide and outdoor educator in Southeast and Central Asia. He has guided rock throughout the U.S, now splitting his time between the red rocks of southeast Utah and the Tetons’ majestic summits.  Riley is eager to share the beauty and unique challenges of this world-class alpine rock.

  • Always professional, always personable, always safe, always considerate. They take the time to develop a plan with the client that creates a fun and challenging experience; also, they provide valuable teaching moments along the way. I look forward to using their services again.

  • Climbing The Grand with JHMG was one of the most incredible experiences in my already rich life.  I came into the trip a bit apprehensive about the climbing and exposure, but the training and guides not only made me feel safe and confident, they also taught me skills to improve future climbing experiences.  I expected crazy beautiful views and fun times and you guys delivered both along with an unexpected level of service, coaching, and camaraderie.  Keep up the great work and we’ll see you on future climbing and mountaineering trips.

  • Excellent climb with top-notch guides. Safety was the number one consideration. Our group of four all summitted, two had no climbing experience. Highly recommend!
